Most companies listed on the NZX have good web sites. Formerly one of the largest companies listed, Brierley Investments has sold its remaining small shareholding in Air New Zealand and changed its name. The airline itself is also listed. From 1982 until 1986 I was an active investor through the NZSE. In 2004 I sold my remaining shares. 

Consumer Online provides useful information on electricity prices and bank fees.

Good source for WWW economics resources are Resources for Economists on the Internet and Economics Roundtable (with links to weblogs) from the USA. WebEc from Finland is no longer maintained. The Dismal Scientist is worth a look but has ceased to be free.
