The low that yesterday morning was sitting in the Tasman has moved into the Southern Ocean and is now sitting Southeast of the country. This low is generating a series of fronts moving across the lower south today, the majority of the effect appears to be inland from us and down south where it is currently raining. High winds are forecast for these areas.
