| I grew up in a dancing family. My parents met each other when my father applied for a job as an instructor in my mother's studio. As a young child I vividly recall watching my parents dancing and teaching, seeing my parents' pupils on television, and playing next to my mother's sewing machine as she patiently worked through miles of taffeta and sequins. | ||||
| Although my involvement in line dancing per se hasn't been a long one, I simply cannot imagine living without it now! | ||||

A letter I wrote to the Beat magazine was nominated for the 2001 Most Outstanding in the Beat Awards, much to my surprize! The letter describes my introduction to, what I call, my Two Worlds of Line Dancing. | |||
| A word to the uninitiated. If you have never tried line dancing give it a go! It is good exercise, you meet fascinating people, remembering all those steps certainly keeps the brain cells active, and it is so much fun! | ||||
