The Use any browser campaign is a campaign to make websites universally viewable. Ie it is trying to make the WWW Non-Browser Specific.
Although at the moment this site is not that viewable on all platform/os/browser setups this website is viewable over a wide range of browsers including text based ones such as Lynx. However I don't suggest my site is the easiest to browse with lynx, but it is still possible. I am hoping to progressively provide better solutions for the "less enabled" browsers such as Lynx. At the moment this whole site it viewable by Lynx (I have tried it) but I believe it would be better if there was a text menu for navigation as well. All interactive activities are written in Perl by myself (Christopher Fairbairn) - except for the NPM message board. This ensures cross platform/os/browser support. At the moment the only non cross browser compatible page is the NPM Virtual Radio, this is likely to stay this way as it requires Javascript and the Real Audio Plugin. This means that the NPM Virtual Radio can really only be used in Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator as these are the browser Real Audio has released plugins for.
