In addition to the nudist clubs, resorts and homestays in New Zealand, there are a
number of organisations that cater to one aspect or another or nudism in this country.
Some issue INF passports to their members.
It should be noted that while many naturist clubs in New Zealand require a
current INF passport before a guest will be admitted, some clubs specifically
require that the INF passport be issued by a 'landed' club, i.e. a club of fixed
locale. This is because they perceive the membership of such landed clubs to be
better vetted for suitability to visit their club than members of organisations
that issue INF passports to members without ever meeting them. As many visiting
European naturists do not belong to clubs but rather visit private resorts, it
remains to be seen how this will impact club visitor numbers for clubs requiring
the 'landed' passports.
The New Zealand Naturist
Federation
Affiliated to the International Naturist Federation (INF), the NZNF represents the
interests of naturists in New Zealand. Their web site contains information about the
federation's objectives, the executive committee, newsletters and upcoming events.
In 2003 the site moved from the old www.nznaturally.org.nz to the current
www.gonatural.co.nz and has at last
taken on something of a consistent look and feel as befits such an organisation. The NZNF can also be contacted on their free-phone number 0800 NATURIST (0800 628874).
The Free
Beach Group
A naturist club without grounds, the Free Beach Group organises outings for it's members,
meeting at beaches, naturist clubs and other locations. They also produce a booklet
listing beach locations throughout New Zealand where nude bathing is possible. Their
excellent web site contains an abridged listing of the more popular nude bathing beaches
in New Zealand.
The
Supporters Membership Group
Similar to the Free Beach Group, the Supporters Membership group is another club
without grounds that exists to put naturists in touch with each other and
provides regular newsletters to its membership.
NZ NUDVAN - New
Zealand Naturist United Driving
Vans Anywhere Naturally
In mobile homes and caravans, members of NZ NUDVAN converge on various pre-arranged
camping locations for social naturism of a more nomadic kind than the standard sun club
offers.

Home of Aotea Beach Hideaway, one of the naturist homestays, this site lists a
variety of accommodations at Aotea Harbour.
