My name is Camille
I'm a small baby seal
And I'm sure that you're happy to know
That my fur coat's so warm
I can get up at dawn
And play all day long in the snow

Today I went to play with my small brother Sam
We met a strange creature which mother called man
She cried out "Beware," and "please don't go near"
But we were so young that we didn't know fear
So I showed him my slide which I made yesterday
And Sam and I said "Do come and play"
But it seemed that the man didn't quite understand
For he raised something long cold and sharp in his hand
Then Sam went to sleep, though he wasn't in pain
And I called to mother. "It's too late, she said"
