Overview - Out and out unadulterated science fiction. Animation Traveler William Benson awakes to find that he has been Animation Traveling for over three hundred years. It is now the 2800's, man has been at war for over two hundred years, against an enemy that none have been able to identify. The war is out of control, every move the armed forces makes seems to be anticipated, there are enemies without and enemies within. What is needed is a new player, someone with different ideas to this time, someone that could be given complete control, to solve the mystery of this war - and stop it. William is such a man, but Animation Travelers are hated with a passion, because it is rumored an Animation Traveler started the war in the first place. Taking command of the "Forces" flag ship, William goes out in search of the enemy, and finds way more than he or mankind bargained on...

Overview - This was my first attempt at a novel, subsequently rewritten and completed. Earth is at war with her colonies, Zon is a freighter pilot who crash lands on a deserted planet in the middle of no mans land. He creates a virtual partner from the ship computer, befriends an alien fox like animal, and is joined by a second crash victim who happens to be female and the enemy...
A Little Law.

Overview - My First real novel. It is like the old English television series Survivors (The Stand, The Postman) a post apocalypse book. Bret is the survivor of the sickness, he joins forces with a thirteen year old boy, runs across a strong gang presence, meets one of their slave members, and decides to help her. The raid is a success, they rescue a group of woman and there begin the problems. Bret is landed with the title "Sheriff" as the group flees one gang presence, and inevitably runs into a number of others. The group have a number of encounters - but they have one advantage, a tank and the intelligence to make their surroundings work for them ...
Beyond Death’s Domain.

Overview - A long and involved book, one which is a rollercoaster journey through today, yesterday, tomorrow and BEYOND! I have no modern day equivalent to compare this novel with - students and adults alike agree, it is different, and addictive. It has; action, love, friendship, murder, the Devil, God, fantasy, science fiction, pirate adventures on the high seas, and much more as components. Jake the hero is a hard man, deals in drugs, has few friends, but isn't all bad. His life has become directionless, right up till a chance observation that sees him saving a woman from being raped. Alas before he can rescue her from her attackers, one of them slams her head into the floor, she enters a coma that will change Jake's life - forever. His life continues to change then, as he befriends a young girl when she is set upon in a bus, he discovers this orphan has a mysterious past, he smells wealth beyond imagination, and decides to pursue it. Jake travels out of the country to buy information, the small chartered plane is sabotaged and crashes into the sea. Only he survives this, he realizes the stakes being played for, and sets up a meeting to discover more - it is a trap, he is shot and killed!
Jake wakes up in the morgue, weak, disorientated, naked - left for dead. Escaping the morgue, wandering the hospital corridors, he meets a number of people, has strange adventures, including one in the head of a young patient, before returning to the outside world. So he finds his once predictable life is way out of control. He careers down a path that finds him questioning everything life is about, and if the danger of obtaining the ultimate treasure is worth all he knows and values dying for...

Overview - The sequel to A Little Law. Bret now captured by a gang, as at the end of A Little Law, begins planning his escape. In an unfortunately set of circumstances Bret escapes one gang to be captured by another. The leader of this gang sees him as a valuable addition to her group, as she continues to cross the countryside, in search of the "Sheriff", ironically looking for what she has already found. Bret after a struggle decides to lead her to his clan, gambling on his group's superior abilities. Escaping captivity Bret rejoins his group, and begins really organizing things, there are inevitable problems with new recruits, as the community grows from strength to strength - such as the young man who has an unhealthy appetite for other people. New members are found as Winter approaches and a new sickness appears, it has as a mysterious likeness to that of the past - only two members contract this at first, one of them being Bret...
Psycho-Surrender.

Overview - Another long and involved story. This traces the life of a boy, Michael, to manhood and on... The story begins with Michael shifting into a old Edwardian mansion with his parents, they are property speculator types. The house is run down, and as it turns out haunted. Michael sticks pretty much to himself at the beginning, witnesses visions of a girl about his own age, does some research and discovers over a hundred years ago a girl named Melissa was killed in the house. He is haunted and gradually befriended by a ghostly figure, highlighting his psychic abilities. He has many adventures, is recruited by the Institute of Parapsychology at school, as he pursues his desire to be a lawyer like his father. At his new school he meets a pretty girl - Barbara, but a ghostly Melissa is jealous and wishes with all her soul that she could touch him, her wish is granted by some miracle. In the heat of the moment they forget themselves and attempt to make love, this destroys Michael's abilities - or at best alters them beyond even the experts understanding. The story then skips to Micheal's adult years, he now is a down and out detective, and the adventure continues when he is asked to undertake some parapsychology work, leading to an inevitable climax, as the reasons for his life's direction unfolds.

Overview - Story of Peter, an alcoholic that gets sick of the endless grind of; work and life. He quits his job and locks himself away in his apartment, retreating from the harshness of the world, becoming as much a hermit as a recluse. Selling his fantasy car, he looks for something else to occupy himself with, and stumbles across a computer shop advertising they can help anyone to "escape the real world". Peter buys a virtual reality computer package of suspect origin, and begins playing around with it. From this point the reader will not know what is real and what is virtually real till the last page, where all will be revealed, maybe...

Overview - Who really knows... (Proposed) I guess it will be science fiction. Bruce a guy with it all loses everything, finds the humiliation of the situation prevents him for seeking help or advice. As such he cuts himself off from most of those that he used to associate with - and finds the isolation unbearable. Computer literate and intelligent, he strike upon the idea of creating a virtual friend out of his stock pile of computer gear. This book will be a bit like Virtual, but it is exploring the limits of artificial intelligence, how close a machine can come to humanity, after all, aren't we just flesh and blood machines?

Overview - An adventure style book based on my email conversations with people in other countries, especially America. A story revolving around money and its real importance in the end. A harrowing break from my technology based works, and refreshing - even if I am a duck out of water... quack quack.

At last the long awaited first book of the LAW series. Lawless is to be the first of the four, A Little Law and Law having already been written. This project is selfishly for me, like Another Time Another Place, just one more of those things I promised myself that I would do in time - guess this must be it.

Result of a very vivid dream, a fantasy style story, one I never thought to write, then again I have tried just about everything else, so why not.

This is the result of my efforts to write a screen play of What! It has changed my writing perspective, and I never thought that could happen. Now as I write I see pictures, as the characters move from plot to plot, the scenes change vividly. The feeling I have for this book, this idea is very strong, I really do hope it stays with me - to feel so positive is unusual, maybe this is my 15 minutes, days, months, years?
