MP3's
Unfortunately, due to the amount of time the server was taking up I have decided to shut it down. One day, when I get around to it, I may fix it up and run it again, but until then, find another source of mp3z. It also wasn't paying off, about 10 people were bothering to upload stuff, and the other hundred regulars were just fishing for stuff. I don't care if people only upload once every few months, but please, don't abuse the system!
I am (maybe) still happy to trade mp3s, put me on your ICQ list and talk sometime, my UIN's are 596471 and 4663339.
My list of mp3's is still available for you to view.
Either sorted by ID3 Tag or
file name.
Check both lists, coz sometimes I haven't bothered entering an ID3 tag, so what you're looking for may not be in the list, and vice-versa with filenames, sometimes my filenames get in a big mess!
Things you should know about MP3'z:
You will need a player - you can download Winamp from their site - I highly recommend this.
MP3's run fine on most 486's and Pentiums, however, with anything lower than a P-100 you will need to set the player to MONO and BE VERY, VERY patient when trying to click on anything as your computer will go REAL SLOW! However, a good Pentium runs them fine in good quality.
Details about the servers:
The server runs on my machine, so isn't running all the time - usually 15 hours a day, sometimes more, sometimes less. It is usually online 24 hours on the weekend - take a look at the indicators above, and visit it when you can.
You can download and upload files from the FTP server, or just download them from the HTTP server. If you're a beginner, then use the HTTP server, otherwise, if you know what your doing, use the FTP side as it tends to be easier to navigate. The servers are very self explanitory.
Anyway, I would appreciate it if you could do the following as well when you're using the server.
It helps me figure out how to better serve people, and what times they need to logon and stuff.
You will get 50% more out of the server if you do the following:
Get ICQ (if you don't allready have it!)
Add me to your contact list - My UIN is 596471. Click here to add me to your list (open the file, don't save it).
Tell me when you're using the server
Look at my INFO and Away messages for details of the server's status
Note: ICQ is a free communication program from Mirabilis that you have got to get!
