All of the commands in the File menu work pretty much as you'd expect them to, but in just in case they don't, here's a rundown on what they do.
- New
This command resets all the settings to their defaults.
- Open
This command invokes the Open File dialog and allows you to choose a file to open.
- Save
This command invokes the Save File dialog and allows you to save a single location Solaris file. In the future it may be possible to save to a library file which could contain many locations, but for now only one location is saved per file. If you have already saved the settings, the Save command simply writes out the new settings to the same file.
- Save As
This command lets you save the settings in a new file, if you have already saved them previously. It opens the Save File dialog. The file you choose becomes the active Solaris file, which will be used next time you save the settings.
- Revert
This command reverts the settings to those that you last saved.
Although you can use keyboard navigation to select commands from the menu in the Windows version, there is currently no support for accelerator keys in the TGPGuiLib. On the Macintosh version you can use the same keyboard shortcuts you'd expect.
