The new JOTA Organiser for JOTA in this country is Marie Smolnicki, ZL2THE, mah_re@xtra.co.nz A new JOTI organiser has yet to be appointed. However, I host the website for these activities on this site.

JOTA is an annual international activity for Scouts and Guides - enabling them to talk to each other by amateur radio.

The Magnificent Young Men in their Rob Roy Canoes

I have compiled a book about the Park brothers who were Hokitika canoeists. In about 1880 to 1890, they made some incredible journeys which took them over the Southern Alps, across Cook Strait and through other places.
