City Tour and Release Frenzy

A walking tour through central Christchurch, guided by experienced Christchurch Bookcrossers who will point out their favourite release locations. Bring some books to release!

Flash Mob!

We'll be meeting at the Arts Centre, where you'll receive your secret instructions. This is a fun and unusual way to promote Bookcrossing.
And afterwards, why not explore the Arts Centre's bustling markets - an ideal location for releasing books (and there's even an internet cafe if you need to make release notes).

Convention Dinner and Celebrity Debate

Some famous names debate one of the big questions of Bookcrossing.

Cost = $25.00

Sunday 27 March

Mystery Trip and Picnic

Pack your books and picnic blanket - we're off on a day trip! We'll be having a picnic lunch at one of Canterbury's nicest scenic spots, with plenty of opportunities along the way to release a few more books.

Free evening - we'll organise a group meal if there's enough interest, or do your own thing.

Monday 28 March

Time to go home, but if you've got time to spare, there's still plenty to do and see in Christchurch!

Non-bookcrossing friends and family members (including children) are welcome to attend any of the events.

Note for those travelling from out of town: March 2005 may seem like a long way off at the moment, but remember, it will be Easter weekend, so travel and accommodation bookings are likely to fill up fast. Don't leave it too late to book!

Registration: Resistrations are now open. PM FutureCat to request a registration form (please include your email address).

Early Bird Discount: To be eligible for the early bird discount, registration form and payment must be received by 1 March 2005.
