APSNZ is the Associateship of the Photographic Society of New Zealand.

To achieve Associateship, a member of PSNZ must submit twelve photographs which when viewed together will demonstrate that the applicant has not only a high degree of technical skill, but is sensitive to the balance and feeling that a submission conveys.

An overall quality must permeate the portfolio, and the subjects chosen should compliment one another. Photographs should be of similar quality, and show a degree of unity of subject matter, tonal qualities or colour.

PSNZ Honours include Licentiateship, Associateship and Fellowship, each of which requires increasing levels of accomplishment.

Below are my twelve photographs, submitted successfully in February 2000. I hope that my photography will be such that I can consider the possibility of submitting 18 photographs for consideration for Fellowship within the next few years.
