Area Representatives
We are looking for more area representitives that represent our equipment away from where we normally ride (West coast Auckland/Orewa), and where there is little or no dvnt product in the area. You will receive product discounts in return for introducing our products to your area and of course get to ride some awesome kit.
Teamriders
If you are interested in becoming a dvnt teamrider - contact us with your profile/vids/pics. Being a teamriding is about spreading the word and being a good abassador helping to sell our equipment, in return you will receive product discounts and of course get to ride some awesome kit. You will find all the dvnt teamriders stoked to help out with advice where they can assist.
Chris Lucca - New Zealand
Riding hard out since "Phase 1"' (2000), Chris is well known for riding with great style and power. You will most likely find Chris riding the wild west coast of New Zealand and its monster swells busting huge kiteloops between 8ft walls of white water (and of course slashing up the wave faces further out to sea). A humble and highly skilled and experienced rider, he is the founding member of MBK (Muriwai Beach Kiteboarding) and is also a teamrider for Airush.
James Everett - New Zealand
From buying a 1/3 share in a kite (no board) with friends 3 years ago, James has progressed fast and developed a really great powered riding style (snowboarding roots) that is reflective of many more years riding. His main focus is progressing his already high level freestyle skills, but again mixes it up with wave action when the waves are pumping. We are stoked to have James riding for dvnt in 2008. James's brother is New Zealand based hip hop artist Colab, and you will often find him chilling to his brothers tunes.
Tim Langlois - Perth, Western Australia
Tim attended the first ever Red bull kitesurfing competition in Maui(1999) on his c quad and has been kiteboarding for many years. Possibly the first and last kiter ever to be lofted over a huge sand dune,a car park, a 60ft pine, and a road all in one go during a freq gust/updraught of wind and come out almost unscathed. Tim was a founding partner of dvnt and has been focusing on riding an unstrapped kiteboard for the last 3 years on which he really rips it up in the waves. He has travelled extensively with his kite and surfboard for both kitesurfing and surfing..
Mike Cann - New Zealand
Mike is well known for riding in conditions that others simply drive home after seeing. As well as his 40 knot+ exploits, he is to be found out riding and progressing his freestyle and wave riding skills at any moment available. Also an addicted surfer and towsurfer.
Rachael Cann
Rach won the 2008 New Zealand Freestyle Nationals. Rachael is not one to hold back and can be seen busting out many tricks that other just think about trying. Last seen hanging onto a 4m kite in Western Australia.
Hendrick Gavelle
We first spotted Hendrick piledriving himself into the water at Shakespear Bay in New Zealand from hard out kiteloops not long after learning to kite. It became clear that he was a natural on the water and was in fact brought up on the water living aboard a yacht around the Pacific (New Cal, Tahiti) previous to moving to New Zealand 5 years ago. Hendrick is totally amped on freestyle kiteboarding and progressing fast. Today he stomps some of the most agressive and high wind kiteloops you will see and likes nothing more than to session with anyone that will push him to progress and have fun. |
