The Husband Family Research
The Cornish Flag
Samuel was an Engineer in the Mines
Samuel Husband with his wife Ann left behind the life
and family they knew in Cornwall, England to make a fresh start in the emerging
colony called New Zealand.
Eight of their children did not live long enough to leave Cornwall while the remaining Seven did come
and another two were stillborn. A total of 17 children born to Ann!
Other family members came later or sailed to other parts of the English
speaking world.
Samuel and Ann now have many descendants in New Zealand as do his brothers
and sisters that emigrated at a later date.
This website is dedicated to them, their ancestors and six generations of
descendants who now call New
Zealand home.
