Location

• Follow State Highway 1 north from Auckland, passing through Whangarei, Kawakawa and Moerewa.
• Approximately 7km from Moerewa you will come to the Pakaraka Intersection. Turn right onto State Highway 10 at this intersection and continue towards North and Kerikeri.
• Continue straight through the Kerikeri roundabout on the State Highway 10 for approximately another 19km and then turn right at the turn off to Matauri Bay. This is a well marked intersection and has a prominent 'Tourist Route' sign.
• Follow this road for approximately 15km until you see Wainui Road – Te Ngaere Bay on left. Turn left and follow the road 5km to Te Ngaere Bay settlement.
• Pass over a small bridge and veer left at the letter boxes.
• Continue past the reserve on your right and all beach houses on your left until you reach a 100kph road sign. Continue 600 meters up the road. On the left you will see a red letterbox, our Huntaway Lodge sign and two black gates. You pass through the gates onto a shared private gravel road. This is a shared private road, please take care and follow the driveway and Huntaway Lodge signs.
