SATIRE

Spaceship Earth

When this world turns
and sets the sun,
I gaze in wonder
into all as one,
at this eternal journey
within one light
it's power --- it's hold
it's evers.

Darkness brings
to an eye that sees,
lights recollections
of nature's schemes,
on or within
her clustered ways
when nature calls
all obey,!
Her power --- her hold
her evers,
in timeless wonder
through endless scenes.

I've thanked the moon
for being out there
for its help
to appreciate
this earth, its space,
and why we're here
like satellites
all bound in one,
from nature's essence
to a setting sun
it's power --- her hold
our evers,
in timeless wonder
through endless scenes.
