Paul McGuigan was born on May 9th, 1971 in Manchester, England. His nickname is Guigsy.He supports the football team Manchester City ( just like Noel, Liam and Bonehead) .When Paul grew up he started a band with his mates, Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs, Tony McCaroll and another friend. They called themselves "Rain", until the lead singerquit and someone by the name of Liam Gallagher who heard about ‘Rain’ in a newspaper ad joined and changed the band’s name to Oasis. For a little while Guigsy left Oasis because of depression (I have no idea of what sort of Depression) somewhere in the middle of 1995.Scott McLeod took his place and he was the bassist in the Wonderwall video, but then Guigsy felt better and came back. Now Paul lives with his wife, Ruth who helped him get over his depression (good on her), and also with son, Patrick.
