Oasis Live in Auckland, New Zealand 98!

Hey there everybody!

I thought I should give you ALL an a review in the Oasis concert on Monday the 9th March at the Carlton Holt Pavilian Centre in Auckland!!!!!!!! (THEY CAME HERE, THEY ACTUALLY CAME HERE!!!!!)

IT WAS THE BEST CONCERT ON EARTH! THE BEST THERE WAS, THE BEST THERE WILL EVER BE! NO ONE CAN COMPARE TO THEM! NO ONE COULD TRY AND COMPARE TO THERE CONCERT!!!! THEY ROCKED HEAVEN AND HELL!!!!!!!!!

Since my sister and I are super duper fans, as most of you know already by our constant ravings and ramblings *smiles* , we went to the concert 4 hours before it began and sat there wondering what it was gonna be like!!!! While sitting there, under the hot sun, listening to the backup band inside practice….three cars past us. We jumped up and saw THEM….OASIS in the flesh!! Hey they even gave us the peace sign….such wonderful guys huh? *LOL* We told that to our dad after the concert, but he still thinks they need a good hiding to and some discipline! Here is a question for all you of you that let your mind wonder every now and then…Why do parents hate the new generation of music??? Is it because it is heaps better than what they had to listen to? (except for the Beatles, they ROCKED!)

Finally after waiting for ages we were allowed in. Naturally the instant we where in, we ran like crazy to the front, but we were not there for long. The whole audience was nuts. But it was heaps fun. We waited for ever, even threatening to sing Spice Girls songs, but none of knew the words *LOL*. Then at 8.30pm (half an hour late) THEY came on stage!

We were pushed and shoved, and then the security pulled us out coz they noticed we stopped breathing *L* , but we are fine. The venue was so small it didn’t matter where you stood or sat coz you could still get an EXCELLENT view of them!!!

Liam is the BEST! Noel was even better. He strummed and cranked up his guitar as if he had never heard of premature ageing! The music was so loud, that most of the time you couldn’t hear what they were saying! BUT IT WAS EXCELLENT! Liam and his ‘bad boy’ attitude rocked! THE WHOLE BAND ROCKED! There was something like 50 super duper woofer speakers on stage and the vibrations…..well they vibrated everything inside of you *LOL*.

Both Liam and Noel were so darn good looking! They are drop dead SEXY! Man I’m still not over them both! They are just too cool. No one can be as cool as they are. I still can’t believe I saw them right up front! They started the concert with ‘Be here now’ from their new album, and ended the concert with ‘Champagne supernova’ from their second album. In the last song, Noel did some nifty soul stuff, it was excellent! Words can’t explain how brilliant it was, you just had to be there *L*. In between Noel did his traditional acoustic versions of certain songs. At the Auckland concert he did ‘Don’t go away’ and ‘Fade In-Out’ from their latest album. He has got the best voice! That was one of the highlights of the whole concert! What can I say, except he is the BEST!

Ah! yes well, as all good things come to an end, they had to leave. But none of us left, instead we demanded an encore. Liam came up and said they were gonna play another two songs to get rid of us lot *L* (of course he said it with a lot more swear words). They played two unreleased tracks, the Beatles song ‘I am a Walrus’ and another called Aquience! All in all, they played 16 songs from all three albums they have released to date and some unreleased songs too. WOW!

IT WAS THE BEST CONCERT!!!!! All I gotta say is Oasis is the best band in the whole world…..and that’s a fact!
