Hekerua Lodge is only a place, people are what make it a great place, my original idea was to have budget accommodation for international travellers mixed with locals. We cannot be all things to all people, so if you are looking for total seclusion and perfect peace, then this may not be for you, especially during the busy summer months ... We of course do party from time to time, depending on who’s here and how the noise will be recieved by all staying, it’s a bit like life really, consideration for our environment and all the people around us, this does not mean we’re a venue that frequently parties, we like to chill and relax, discussions abound and lifelong friendships are made.
