Education Program
The extensive education programe includes NZQA Unit Standard modules, and is designed to provide participants with the ablility to manage their own personal finances.
SIO's (Summary Instalment Orders)
This allows a person to repay debts in regular manageable stages without further legal action being taken against them.
Total Money Management (TMM)
In certain situations and for a short period of time we will look after a client's money, provide them with an agreed amount each week, and use the rest to pay agreed bills.
Fees
N.B. There is a cost for each of these additional services. The fee generally depends on the amount of work required, amount of funding provided by community funders, and the client's ability to pay. Your budget advisor will work with you to ensure that any fee is manageable.
The Hamilton Budgeting Advisory Trust is a member of the New Zealand Federation of Family Budgeting Services(Inc)
It is a non-profit organisation specialising in providing free budget advice (with ongoing consultancy), budgeting education and the management of Summary Instalment Orders (SIO's). In special circumstances we manage a client's finances for a limited period.
