SOAK 'N' CROAK CONCENTRATE

Soak n Croak .. Mould, Moss, Lichen & Slime Killer This is NOT Chlorine based because strong chlorine is extremely corrosive.

It kills moss, lichen, mildew and slime on roofs, decks, awnings, walls, steps, paths, cobblestones, garden furniture and umbrellas.  OK on tarseal drives, tennis courts, playgrounds and car yards.  Kills moss on lawns too, won’t kill grass or weeds.
JUST SOAK IT AND LEAVE IT!

This product is not Chlorine based because strong chlorine is extremely corrosive
Now that we also offer chlorine products we think it wise to explain why we recommend certain chemicals for specific purposes.
Soak 'n' Croak, an ammonium compound, has the following advantages:

1.      Peace of Mind.  Soak 'n' Croak can be applied to any building without risk of damage.
2.      Costs less than other suitable chemicals.
3.      Kills by entering the root system.
4.      For some weeks after application, Soak 'n' Croak reactivates (works again) when rained on.
5.      Moss etc does not regrow as readily.
6.      It will keep indefinitely on the shelf.

Cleaning
Soak 'n' Croak is also an excellent cleaner, it takes time to work.  Your property will probably look cleaner in
3 months than it does 3 weeks after spraying.
Soak 'n' Croak cleans roofs, cobblestones, patios, bricks, concrete, Hinuera stone, tents, glasshouses, boats,
sails, outdoor furniture, umbrellas etc.
N.B. It will not affect the water-proofing of tents or other canvas goods.

To keep your home surrounds immaculate we recommend spraying cobblestones, patios, decks, concrete etc.
at least once a year, and tiled roofs every 3 to 4 years.

Soak 'n' Croak is non-corrosive. It will not stain or bleach any fabric or surface of timber, plastic, metal, tile, glass etc. It will not damage paintwork, discolour your aluminium joinery or destroy your awning stitches.

Application Rates
 An average sized roof in bad condition with moss and lichen needs about 100 litres of SPRAY MIX. For bad areas at ground level use one litre of SPRAY MIX per square metre of surface. Hinuera stone and slime only need a mix of 1 part Soak 'n' Croak to 25 parts of water.Tarsealed Tennis Courts and Surrounds (average 600 square metres) – assuming1/3 of the area needs spraying for LICHEN, we recommend double strength spray mix (1:7 water) requiring 1 x 20L and 1 x 5L concentrate.
Dilution Rate
 Our concentrate is 30% Active Ingredient plus additives i.e.: 300g Active Ingredient per litre. We recommend mixing 1 part Soak 'n' Croak with 14 parts of water to make a 2% SPRAY MIX.

More about Lichen ..
Our recommended spray mix of 1 part Soak 'n' Croak to 14 parts water will kill lichen.  However lichen takes a long time to show that it is dying or dead.  While moss reacts within a couple of days, lichen may take weeks to lose colour.  If you want to see quicker results spray at twice the usual strength  i.e. at 1 part Soak 'n' Croak to 7 parts water.
Reaction Time
Best applied early in the morning with little or no wind present and no chance of rain within 6 hours. Growth should brown and die within 2 weeks. Sun, wind and rain will remove dead growth given time - could be months. If rapid removal of dead growth is required, brushing with a broom is all that is needed.
Mould:-   Mould forming on ceilings, walls of showers, bathrooms, toilets and other damp places can be largely prevented by spraying with a                         mixture of ½ a teaspoon of Soak 'n' Croak concentrate per litre of water.  Spray on and leave to dry.

Roof Water If you are collecting rainwater for domestic and stock use, disconnect your tanks for at least one good rain
 (2 would be better).

Why you should use  Soak 'n' Croak. The active ingredients of Soak 'n' Croak and many similar products are known as QAC (quaternary ammonium compounds). They are all very similar in much the same way as all brands of petrol are very similar. The QAC chemicals are not readily absorbed by plants so most manufacturers of products similar to ours use additives to achieve better absorption.  There are, however, two products marketed which have 50% active ingredient and 50% water.  They are simply bottled as received from the maker but do not enjoy much success because of two major drawbacks as follows:     
1.    At this strength you cannot mix in additives to improve performance.     
2.   SEVERE FOAMING during application means spray drift from a roof or walls can land on plants around the house and, while it will not kill                them, they will be disfigured for some months.  This annoys the homeowner who will then blame the person spraying the product.

How much difference do additives make? 
Additives can improve performance by 15-20%.
Foaming during application is not a problem when suitable additives are included in the concentrate.

SPRAY MIX-How strong?
How much?
 We believe that spray mix should be about 2% active ingredient with additives to give best results. Use 1 litre of spray mix per square metre of severe infestation. We will not encourage you to use weak spray mixes nor to apply less volume than required to achieve success.

 
Now...... This is really, really good stuff ..... It works, It's Low cost and it smells great.

Orange Plus
Concentrated general purpose cleaner

65% active ingredient including 30% cold-pressed Orange Essential Oil

An outstanding emulsifier & stain remover.
This pale liquid with citrus zest adds pleasure to any cleaning job.
This product is a real delight to use because it lifts your mood.

Directions for use of Orange Plus:
1-150 parts water, for crystal clear mirrors & windows. If streaky add more water.
1-30   water, carpets, rugs & upholstery. Saturate, leave 15 mins, mop off with
           absorbent cloth.
1-20   water, motor vehicles, bathrooms, kitchens, tiles, fishing & camping gear,
           leave 10 minutes and wipe off.
1-10   water,( brilliant for mag wheels), boats, moss and mildew, toilet bowls,
           (leave 15 minutes, scrub and flush).
1-4     water, silverware & jewellery (not glued).  Use a toothbrush to assist cleaning.
1-4     water, unblocks greasy drains, (leave 20 mins, flush out with hot water).
1-2     water, removes rust, loosens nuts, lubricates hinges, padlocks, bolts, spray warm
          ovens & barbeques and scrape off fat etc when cold.
1-2    parts olive oil or beeswax, great for furniture polish.

Use Orange Plus Undiluted for the following:
     Degreasing engines and under bonnet, hose off.
·    Cleaning oil off driveways, hose off.
·    Spot cleaning, soiled collars, food, wine, fruit, blood stains, wash as usual.
·    Chewing gum and adhesives, soak 5 minutes, scrape off and rinse.
·    Removes scuff marks off bumpers and boats, hose off.
·    Tyre walls, blacken by wiping on, leave on.

WARNING  When diluting with water, always add Orange Plus to water
(not water to Orange Plus)
Do not use on glued or costume jewellery.
Do not leave strong concentrate on painted surfaces or rubber
Do not use on fan belts or rubber engine hoses.
Colourfast
Is your rug or other item COLOURFAST?
We suggest you check an unseen part of the item to see whether it is colourfast.
Sometimes a spilt liquid can cause a dye to run and it can be impossible to reverse
the process.

THE BUBBLE TEST
1.    Shake the bottle of Orange Plus. You will see very little foam and the
        oily concentrate sliding down inside the bottle.
       It’s a very high concentrate of 65% active ingredient.

2.   Shake another similar product.  You will probably Immediately fill the bottle with bubbles. 
       It means there’s lots of water in the bottle.

“NEWTECH Skin Rejuvenating” formulation has NZ Ministry of Agriculture & Fisheries approval in two classes. The dairy industry (H1184) and the meat game and fish industries (C52). A cosmetically cooked and processed blend of fruit and tree extracts it is not a simple handcleaner, it is a skin beauty treatment which permeates natural goodness into the skin while it removes all types of grime or paint. In fact there is nothing that we know it will not remove. It can even be used to remove stains on clothes, cleaning tools, paintbrushes, cooking and BBQ equipment etc.  For the environmentalist no animal by-products are used, nor are any petroleum products. Wheat-germ oil is used instead of lanolin and selected fruit oils provide the cleaning agent. To these are added vitamins, minerals, aloe vera, and three antiseptic bactericides to provide a sanitising action, which kills bugs, germs, and cleans-up infections and leaves protection on the skin.  It is for those concerned about their skin, nail, and cuticle appearance, general health and contact with toxins and filth. Ideal for sufferers of skin disorders such as dermatitis, eczema etc. Women in particular love it. It will even get rid of fish gut and diesel smells; Fishermen and farmers love it also. Use it as a barrier cream for extra protection before messy or filthy work. 

 NEWTECH SKIN REJUVENATING HANDCLEANER: formulation history.
 “Skin Rejuvenating handcleaner” is a complicated formula. It has taken time and considerable cost to perfect and requires cosmetic manufacturing equipment to blend and cook in the sanitising agents, fruit and tree extracts. As it contains no animal or petroleum products (to appeal to the health concerned and “new age” person) it did pose formulation problems. The quandary was how to put nutrients back into the skin while using a cleaning system designed to remove just that and other contaminates from the skin? It seemed an impossible task. Solvents do not discriminate what they remove; everything comes off including the skins own natural oils.  All handcleaners no matter what claim is made about them will remove more from the skin than just grime and dirt.  That is the nature of solvents. Whatever is in a particular handcleaner’s formula (to help protect the skin such as lanolin) must also be rinsed from the hands along with everything else. It seems logical. Not so with Newtech Skin Rejuvenating handcleaner. Using a slow release carrier such as “wheat-germ oil” solved our problem.  During the hand-ringing period while the fruit solvents are dislodging grime the wheat germ oil permeates the vitamins, minerals and oils carried in it, into the skin. A protection shield of aloe vera is left on the skin, which carries the three anti septic bactericides used to kill bugs and germs. Although this handcleaner may take a little more time than a pure mineral solvent such as turpentine to remove for example dry two pack paints from hands, it will still do it. In this way it forces the user to allow the precious extra time needed to seep the goodness into the skin. It is a sophisticated process, proven to work. Some people being used to harsher solvent types notice a slight feeling of oil on the skin after washing; this is the surface protection film and will disappear in a few moments. I guarantee after using this product a few times the skin will radiate health, feel, and look good. It will (in the case of ugly hands) actually turn a sows ear into a silk purse. 
There must be hundreds of people who would benefit from a product such as this if they only knew where to get it. Once used and they see and feel the difference they will become repeat customers.

For optimum results NEWTECH handcleaners, Skin Rejuvenating should be applied to the hands directly before contact with water.  Although most prefer to rinse off with water, water rinse is not necessary. A cloth or paper towel may be all that is required.
