The three $500 bursaries for 2006 were awarded to:-
Cameron Sinclair - Cameron has played a major part in organising key elements of Initiation this year. He a handy-person who has helped a number of students by repairing their broken machines. He has helped get equipment for and with setting up for the major student parties.
Graeme Walker - Graeme helped with the organisation of key events at the start of the year, including Initiation. He has organised several important social events for the students. He always helps set up the Dining Hall for feast dinners and events. He has helped get supplies and equipment for the major student parties.
Angela Yannakis - Angela has been the driving force behind the Girls’ Dance Troupe, which was set up earlier this year. She played the major role in organising the Girls’ Cocktail Night. She has also gone on several school visits representing College House.
All three recipients have been very involved in and have made important contributions to the life of the House.
Scholarship funding - A big thank you from the committe and the House to those of you who generously donated money to make it possible for us to award three Scholarships instead of the usual one (or two).
