~ Custom Built 500cc Bullets ~ We
are able to order and import on your behalf near new second hand
Royal Enfield 500cc Bullets. These bikes have all been fully restored,
repainted and re-chromed prior to their importation to New Zealand.
Other modifications such as higher gearing have also been carried
out. We can custom build a bike to your exact colour specification
and add accessories such as single seats and leather pannier bags.
The bikes are priced at around NZ6000 landed,
unregistered. We will also undertake compliancing and registration
of these bikes for a fee of $450. for 6 months
registration. Delivery time is around 14 weeks from confirmation

Why a second hand reconditioned bike? Although
Royal Enfield Motors in Chennai have lifted their game regarding
quality control in recent years, in our extensive experience of
touring on these bikes, the incidence of warranty issues during
the first 3-5000kms still remains unacceptably high. Royal Enfield
India does not offer an international warranty on their bikes.There
are now 'export bikes' available in New Zealand and even though
the quality of these is purportedly better, the high price of
$9000+ on the road puts them in the price bracket of modern Japanese
machines and far higher than any similar classic.
