GPSE was founded in 1996. GPSE specialises in the design and manufacture of automatic weather stations and data loggers for the agricultural, industrial and educational markets. The main strength of the company is its aggressiveness and has gained competitive advantage through technology. One of the major projects GPSE carried out was for ECNZ where it successfully built, installed and commissioned an Alpine weather station on a 12.5m mast on Mount Cook at 2,000m altitude. Currently GPSE is working on weather stations which will be to predict icing on the road.

 Customer Service is our paramount objective - we provide solutions to the customers problems. If a customer has a different application, we can look into tailor making the products for them.

GPSE was acquired by AR Harris Ltd in July 1998 and now the company is called AR Harris GPSE Ltd. This acquisition has given GPSE both market credibility and financial strength to become proactive.

Automatic Weather Stations And Weather Instruments

Our range of weather stations includes the recently released SkyLog 3001 a fully automatic weather station. The SkyLog 3001 is an innovative stand alone weather station for use in industry, agriculture and local councils. These stations can be networked and accessed through a modem or a radio link. We have other range of weather stations for forestry, ski, educational and hobby markets.
