There has been some information on the cause of the fire. We have been informed it was apparently lit in the side door area by children with matches/lighter. It seems it may have smouldered for awhile before taking hold as it did on the inside of the building. Police are now dealing with the matter.

Many thanks to all the parents who collected gear to clean. It is a major job as the soot and water combination seems to really stick and it becomes quite hard work.  We are now in a position to receive this gear down at Ohui-A-Rangi ship/den/hall. Probably next meeting night you come to would be a good time to drop items off.

Our section nights will now settle down to the regular programme

Keas - Monday 5pm to 6pm

Cubs - Monday 6.30pm to 8 pm

Scouts - Wednesday 7pm to 9pm

Any changes to the programme will now be advertised on the noticeboard for each section

Please remember as with our old building to collect Keas and Cubs from inside the building.
