The King and His Land

18th April 1999 (Sun)

Early on a Sunday morning you are called into the room of the King's Advisor:

'I am sorry to awake you my friends, but I have some grievous news. The King has gone missing! He was out riding with the Royal Guard and they never returned. They were due to return over a day ago. Can you see my plight? No!?! The land is linked to her King - without him, she cannot prosper. If the King is not found and brought back to the throne in the next few days, then I'm afraid that the land of Zargoth is going to become a barren desert. You must go my friends and find the King and return him to his throne, before it is too late. Godspeed!'

The game will start at 10:30 am and run until about 5 pm. The old Portal rules will be used.

CANCELLED

This game was cancelled due to one of our organisers falling pray to an internal problem (literally). The game will be replayed at a later date.

In the end it was a load of mixed little games.

Small but...hmmm...tiring

I turned up at the game at 10:30, which was when it was supposed to start... Scott arrived 5 minutes after. We waited around for an hour & ended up having only 9 players. The game was unorganised beforehand because the other GM wasn't there & Scott woke up late. We decided to play 2 small games in which everyone spent most of the time running away from people or chasing after them. The teams were unfair but it was still fun overall...
