SPEEDWAY HISTORY:
Started as a pit crew member in 1980 for Mike Whale's Super Saloon Charger.
During 1985 I purchased an ex-Mike Whale/Bryce Louden Charger and raced
at Waikaraka Park Speedway for 3 years. I then built a new Super
Saloon Charger with a 360 Chrysler V8, Bert transmission, Quick change
diff, Hillborn fuel injection, Sweet power steering and raced this until
1992/93 season. I finished the season winning all the Points Trophies
in this class. Shortly after being married I sold the Charger to build
a house and had two seasons away from driving. During the winter
of 1995 I built the current 1990 Corvette Ltd Saloon, which I have raced
successfully for the last 3 seasons.
As a dedicated racer I have always raced on opening night, and due to
overseas business trips have only missed one or two meetings during my
racing career. The performance and presentation of the car is enhanced
by my dedicated and hardworking pit crew and the support by my sponsors.
