My working life has been spent in the health services, first as a nurse, then as a manager of hospital services and now as an adviser on rehabilitation services. I work for the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) which is a Government owned organisation that provides no fault accident insurance cover for all New Zealanders. My position is Service Planning and Design Adviser in the part of ACC that develops health and rehabilitation services for the benefit of our clients.

When I am not working I can be found amusing myself playing Scrabble on www.isc.ro or at the Wellington Scrabble Club. I also enjoy travel, dabbling in desktop publishing and reading. I am also webmaster of the NZ Association of Scrabble Players website.

Bryan retired early from his job as payroll and personnel officer for a manufacturing company. He now spends his time looking after the house and playing computer games.  Bryan also spoils our cats rotten.

We adopted our daughter, Ruth, in 1968 when she was 2 years old. She is married to Leon and they live in a nearby suburb with their dog Jasper and cat Moses.

Ruth works as a practice nurse in a medical centre in Petone. Leon is a real estate agent. They are both part owners of the medical practice where Ruth works.

This is my brother Trevor with his wife Helen taken on their wedding day in 1992. They live in Canberra, Australia. They met through being members of the local Personal Computer club.

This is my brother Tony. He lives in Tokoroa, NZ. Tony is also interested in computers and operates a part-time business as a computer whizz.
