48. John Arthur Fisk
Arthur was born on the 23rd of February, 1930 at Princess Mary Maternity Hospital.
He was an evacuee during World War II (to Carlisle) along with his brother Frank. Frank returned home shortly at the insistance of his mother.
Of interest is the "Evacuation from Newcastle and Gateshead in 1939" site at http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/NBL/Evacuation. The document images have Carlisle receiving evacuees from Newcastle Central as well as Walker and "Laners".
