The recent tour and professional training seminar held here in Auckland from March 25th to 30th by Grand Master Yap Cheng Hai of Malaysia was a wonderful success. Participants came from as far afield as South Africa and Los Angeles and the Seychelles. Naturally, the bulk of the students were New Zealanders from all over the country. A full programme each day ensured high levels of interest and stimulation. The Grand Master introduced complex theories and formula never before revealed outside Asia and never to westerners.

The programme began with a thorough review of the principles behind both San He and San Yuan feng shui before moving onto a more in depth analysis of these two schools. Intricate examples and real life case studies were used in the classes and these helped students to gain a much deeper understanding of the application of the complex theories and calculations being taught.

Not forgetting the social aspect of the programme, students were delighted to be able to accompany the Master not only to dinner most nights but also on several walkabouts through the inner city district and on the Sunday evening to the top of Mount Eden to view the ‘Jade Belt’ configuration of Auckland’s water ways. Asia Dynamic’s television crew were there to film the event for their Saturday morning programme. A formal dinner was held one evening for those involved in the world of Feng Shui to meet the visitors and for those not able to join the seminar this year.
