BOLD NEW START AS THE MILLENNIUM BEGINS FOR FENG SHUI IN NEW ZEALAND

Feng Shui Consultants New Zealand are delighted to announce the inauguration of the Feng Shui Society of New Zealand.

On October 28th, 1999 The Feng Shui Society of New Zealand was formally inaugurated at the Heritage Hotel in Auckland. The society is New Zealand’s first and only professionally organised feng shui group and has been coordinated to promote the growth and development of traditional methods of feng shui in New Zealand. The setting up of the society has seen a major milestone reached in the spread and consolidation of traditional methods of feng shui in this country.

For several years it has become increasingly obvious that a body was needed to help in the promotion and dissemination of traditional methods of feng shui in New Zealand and it was with this in mind that Danny Thorn, Director of Feng Shui Consultants New Zealand and The Feng Shui Academy of New Zealand began the process of gathering like minded people and discussing the benefits to the industry as a whole of such an organisation. The people involved in forming the society perceive that Feng Shui as an industry is today where Acupuncture was 15 to 20 years ago in New Zealand and it was with this in mind that the society was created. An ethics committee has been instituted to start the processes of setting industry standards and compiling a register of professionally trained feng shui consultants. As founding president of the society Danny is immensely proud and honoured to be involved in such an organisation. Until such time as the society is able to fund a website of its own, Feng Shui Consultants New Zealand will host the society’s regular bi-monthly newsletter here on this site so please check back regularly for updates and news of events organised by the Society.
