CASE
STUDIES : A PRELUDE
This
series of case studies is designed specifically to assist those
wishing to gain a greater insight to the workings of traditional methods
of feng shui. Over a period of time, more will be added. The examples
presented here are real life case studies of situations encountered
by myself in my work as a feng shui consultant both here in New Zealand
and abroad.
They are
separated into three categories:
1: Those which illustrate the effects of Location and
Direction as considered within the San He School. This
in general is referred to as Pa Chai or The Eight Mansions
and is an aspect of the San He School (one of the most popular
methods of feng shui employed in the far east today). In particular
it pays attention to the magnetic influences at work on a building.

2:
Those which take into account the Time/Space Dimension. This
is a very complex and advanced method of feng shui, frequently described
as the pinnacle of feng shui methodologies. It is generally referred
to as 'Flying Stars feng shui.'

3:
Certain 'phenomena' within the surrounding environment which have direct
consequences on those living and working within that environment.
