Hello and welcome to my site. My Name is Eric, "Pony" to my marine mates. I am married and have been for several years to Ann. We have two sons and a daughter.

Fifty Four years ago on the 3rd February 1947, when I was a youngman I joined the Royal Marine Commando's. " I drove many people around in the Marines, some of which were very high up in the elite crowd." But with doing that it has not changed me in anyway. I left the Marines 24 years and 9 months later
(6th November 1971).
I still have got a very keen interest in the Marines past and present.

I left England and came to New Zealand to start a new life, with doing this I got a job with the Justice Department. Worked there for 17 years retiring in 1989. Well retiring !! I thought that was what was going to happen.

My life did not slow down any as I took on many interesting hobbies that have kept me very busy. I have always been interested in Roman and Egyptian history, and with time on my hands I started to swat up on all that again., while listening to my favorite composers "Beethoven" and "Tchaikovsky"

I must admit I am a bit of a freak on classical music.

I have had many hobbies over the years. I was on C.B Radio for many a year and made many good friends, I even branched out to making C.B Radio antenna's. I really learnt a lot from doing this.
Since then I have bought a computer and ofcourse had an upgrade a few years later. Then I was off "surfing the net."

What an interesting place, you can travel all over the world, sitting in your own comfy chair. I found out that a lot of my C.B radio friends had also acquired computers.
Like most people I decided to get a web site. I spoke to my friend Lynne ( Dragnlady) who was learning about web sites at the time, she now designs and looks after my website. I would recommend her web sites to anyone.
