The home is a handcrafted natural log house built from Douglas Fir, handpicked, prepared and constructed on-site by sought-after builder specialising in the construction of log houses. Made of superior construction with scribe-fitting so that the joins are tight. All logs are handshaped, cut and fitted to each other so that they appear to be seamless – like they grew together. The finish tells it all. The joinery throughout is mainly wood (matai, macrocarpa and rimu) with brass fittings. The larger windows on the top level are aluminium with wooden frames in bedrooms. The front and back doors are handmade stable design doors with leadlights in the kitchen door.

Spend cosy nights in front of the Kent wood burner in the lounge with flue through into the top floor area for additional warmth. There is a wetback onto Kent wood burner for hot water. The kitchen has a warm country atmosphere and is well appointed - including dishwasher, new thermawave stove and oven.

Upstairs are two roomy double sized bedrooms with the master suite sharing ample room with the lounge/living area having the best view from the house. Carport lean-to is large enough for two vehicles with a good-sized turning bay and additional parking in front of the house. The rear of the home includes a garden/utility shed and clothesline.
