Press Commentary
On Maori Language Computer Discs

NATIONAL EDUCATION WEEKLY, June 14, 1993.

"Recent additions to the Educator Discs range of programs for IBM-compatible computers include THE MAORI LANGUAGE SUPPLEMENT DISC - NGAA AKORANGA KOA. This disc, presenting, amongst nine other programs, MAORI BILLION, a unique linguistic facility capable of generating over ten billion sentences of Maori, is certainly major good news for students of Maori everywhere, as it is indubitably one of the largest computer resources on this subject in existence at the present time. In view of the linguistic importance and national significance of this disc, we append a program by program description, which we believe will be of value to teachers and students of Maori throughout New Zealand... and overseas!"
