Running These Educational Computer CDs
On a Computer with Windows 7.

THE GOOD NEWS
These CDs can all be run easily on 32-bit versions of Windows 7.

And many of the Windows 7 computers currently in use within New Zealand have the 32-bit version of Windows 7 on board ...

Please note, however, that - with various significant, important exceptions - most of these CDs will not run on most computers with 64-bit versions of Windows 7.

As regards the significant exceptions, the CDs in this range which definitely can be used on computers with 64-bit versions of Windows 7 include the latest edition of the "Sunlit Pathway to the Samoan Language" CD, the latest edition of "Begin Speaking Rarotongan", the latest edition of "Rarotongan Language Practice", the latest edition of the "Maoritanga Clip Art CD-R", and the latest edition of the "Sunlit Pathway to the Maori Language" CD - which definitely can all be used on computers with the 64-bit versions of Windows 7, as well as computers with 32-bit versions of Windows 7.

And if you have a computer with an earlier version of Windows than Windows 7, that's great, because all the educational computer CDs on this website are available in versions which will run on computers with Windows 3.x, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows XP, and Windows Vista.

If you have a Windows 7 computer and you're not sure which version of Windows 7 you have got, one way for you to find out whether you have a 32-bit version of Windows 7, or a 64-bit version of Windows 7, might be to go to the Control Panel, and click "System". When the "System" Window opens up, it will probably give you the information you need. If it says "32-bit", you know you have got a 32-bit version of Windows 7; and if it says "64-bit", you know you have got a 64-bit version of Windows 7.
