PLEASE NOTE: these free demo downloads of educational computer programs are NOT complete CDs but just serve to provide a little prelimary glimpse of some of the tutorial material contained in the standard versions of the CDs.

How to Download a Free Demo Program


Click on the file name underlined in blue. Your browser will prompt you to select a file name and directory to save the file into. Keep the file name as above, but make a note of which directory you save the file into. The program may take a few minutes to download.

How to Run a Demo Program


  • In Windows 95 and all subsequent versions of Windows, Click "Start", 
  and then click "Run ...", and type in the path of the program followed by
  the file name; e.g.  c:\tuition\demo-g   ... 
  Then, push Enter or Return.

    


  • In Windows 3.x,  choose "Run ..." from the File menu of the Program Manager,
  and type in the path of the program followed by the file name; e.g.
  c:\tuition\demo-g
     ... Then, push Enter or Return.

    


  • From an MS-DOS prompt, type in the name of the file without the .exe 
   and push Enter or Return. 
   Immediately before pushing Enter or Return, the
   line you've been typing on will look something like this:


    C:\tuition>demo-g
    
    Your free demo program should then run ...
