3D Virtual Rotate

I have been playing with the Transform 3D Rotate Tool and thought that it would be an interesting tool to investigate.
So here goes.

You can make a sig tag or rotate any of the path drawing tool shapes.

A few tips

1. You can only use the 3D Virtual Rotate Tool on a 2D object.

2.  If you rotate text make sure that you Covert all layers to image if you have a border before saving as a ufo. Open your ufo in GA and animate!

3.  If you spin a shape, make sure that the point of the spin stays in line. Like the tip of a star for instance.

Always push from the middle of a shape and in the direction you would like it to spin.

4.  We will be working in layers ie:: Duplicate your layer, use the 3D V/Rotate on it then Duplicate that layer and rotate some more etc.

5.  If you make a chain to hang your spinning object, you will have to use the Transform/Distort to make it a bit skinnier so that it looks like it is also spinning

I found it very easy once you get the hang of it so I do hope you give it a go.

A Few Examples of what you can achieve.

Use the same principles on your text spin as well.

A couple of text examples.

You can find the 3D Virtual Rotate under your Transform tool.
