JESUS THE MAORI

One with his ancestors,
he has been called to climb up to the heavens.
He has been set apart to challenge the evils of this world.
He has been called to reign over land and sea.
The Father has put the whole world in his hands.

I have used the oriori "E tama i whanake", as a greeting to Jesus at Christmas.
It speaks to the New Zealand heart.
It speaks to the Maori heart.
It speaks in a special way to the Christian Maori heart.
