Fish Hook - an Adventure

This site hopefully will document our little Hawaiian experience as work progresses on Fish Hook, a Kelly-Peterson 44.

The boat was purchased in October 2004 from the first owner, who had the boat from new.  Built in Taiwan in 1977, the design was well known yacht designer Doug Peterson's first production sailboat, and what a great job he made.  This type of boat is very popular with cruising sailors and has consistently been listed in "best cruising boat" surveys.

However, as the photos will hopefully show, this old girl needs a little TLC.  The saying is that BOAT stands for "Break Out Another Thousand" and this certainly relates to Fish Hook, but the bones are good and we're certain that she will respond to treatment!
