A more startling departure of a music project from its initial premise could scarcely be imagined. Still, eight years is a long time & Brainlego's recent recordings clearly illustrate the journeys travelled by both J-mz & Peter since they played together in TMA-1.

No more drum machines (well, almost none), no vocals, no songs as such - just a collection of semi-improvised ambient textures. Highly formalised, but evocative nonetheless. Various treated guitars, acoustic sound generators & electronics join an old Roland D50 synth to produce music which nicely contrasts analogue accident with digital clarity. Much of the album was recorded on analogue 4-tracks - although mini-disc & Apple Powerbook media were also employed. Postmeridian will also be available on Peter's Apoplexy label.
