Conceived earlier than Earth/Clasm (hence the lower catalogue number), Inferno is a much more elaborate & premeditated work which features a broader palette of sounds & arrangements.

Recorded between November 1999 & March 2000, Inferno's richly textured quartet of 15min soundscapes were each inspired by specific Gustav Dore illustrations from Dante. The album also functions as an abstract study of the four alchemical elements: earth, fire, water & air.
