007 KRK107 CDR 14trks 54min

Screech! was not to be TMA-1's final release although, in truth, by the time it appeared the band was losing its momentum. Further recording activity (largely by Peter) & performances continued until the end of 1994. During 1995 Peter gathered together 30min of odds & ends & released them, belatedly, as 007 KRK107. The catalogue number had been specially reserved as the album was to have been liberally sprinkled with samples from the 1965 James Bond movie Thunderball.

Peter has described TMA-1's final phase, during 1994, as being one of playing short pop songs live. 007 reflected this approach, being a collection of brief, punchy, punk-industrial pop songs, noodles & snippets. Despite the unfinished status of much of the music, the album worked surprisingly well!

007 then gathered dust for several years until, between May & September 2001, Peter dug out the original 4-track tapes & remastered it to CDR. The album was duly reissued in its present form as KRK107 in early 2002. Listening to it now, the unfinished aspect of the album is not immediately discernable - perhaps because so much of TMA-1's music was unfinished in any case. 007 comes across as a more wised-up & propulsive version of 5. That's no bad thing.
