Featuring David Edmundson on saxophones and a fine rhythm section of some of Auckland’s best musicians, Straight Up and The David Edmundson Trio have been playing jazz in a variety of New Zealand settings since 1986.

From society weddings to late night jazz bars such as MatchLounge in Pitt St, Auckland, David’s groups play a blend of well known standards, smooth instrumental grooves and original material.

The David Edmundson Trio and Straight Up also specialize in private and corporate functions, recently providing ambient entertainment for The Ellerslie Flower Show, ASB Bank and Tourism New Zealand.

Different group sizes and instrumentations (including vocalist) are available on request.
