We are avid followers of your website since moving to Makawera last September. 
I was just wondering if you had an average annual rainfall for the area and if we are having a wet year this year compared to others?

Hello Glen 

My name is Marten Reitsma. I live close to you in Grasmere Invercargill.
I purchased a La Crosse WS2305 a few months ago. It is up and running
but I am not sure if I have postioned the main unit in the best place.
Seems to me that the Barometric Pressure is not accurate - mine reads
997.1 while yours reads 979 (at 1pm). Attached is a picture of where it
is position. I was hoping you could give me some advice.

excellent weather page. In used to live in Invercargill and also some time in Makarewa. I now live in Wellington with the almost constant northerly.

I found your excellent website while looking for weather station equipment for a son in law for Christmas.

He is a farm manager near Geraldine and asked me if I could get him something for the farm.
Dick Smith only have simple gear at the moment and then they will have to order it in.
Southland Electronics have nothing so I started looking on the web.
Can you suggest some resonable equipment that I could buy, I probably would not want to spend over $500 but I can always add extra sensors at a later date.
