It is with a heavy heart that I must advise you that Jerusalem has been lost to the infidel.
Nah, just kidding. Actually the news is worse. The Cymbrogi Medieval Society is no longer. The club has been cleaved in twain. It is deceased. It has joined the choir invisible. It is an ex club.

But doesn't mean that you must go without any juicy medieval goodness whilst in Wellington, New Zealand. Oh no, you don't get off that easily. The keen and eager lads and lasses of these three sites will provide far more authentic medieval re-enactment action than you can handle. And yet, curiously, leave you wanting for more and more :-)
The Order of The Boar. A Wellington based group that re-enacts the later medieval period. They are also the best jousting group in New Zealand.

The Shire of Darton. Ahh, the SCA. They have done more to advance the cause of medieval re-enactment around the world than any other club. You have gotta love 'em for it because they do a good job.

The Wellington Medieval Guild. A great group for re-enacting all aspects of Medieval life.

So I bid you a fond adeiu, and hope that you find what you are looking for without us. And, of course, I cannot depart this veil of tears without a warm thank you to all those people who have made the last few years such a pleasure.

May your sword be fast, your enemies stupid and your drink plenty!
