HOME BAKING

If you require to keep your diet Cholesterol Free,
you will need to substitute animal fats - butter - with
vegetable oils, or vegetable fats that are Cholesterol
Free, but are still high in fat content.
Use low fat cows milk or soy milk. I find it useful to
keep a packet of Soy Milk Powder for baking.
Soy milk is cholesterol free.

For Low Fat diets, you will have to choose recipes
with low amounts of fat.

Low Fat varieties of butter and margarine are not
satisfactory for baking with.

However low fat milks are okay.

Use only the egg white for recipes that only contain one
egg, and if you feel extra liquid is needed, add an extra
egg white, or a little water to the white, (As it is the egg
yolk that contains animal fat).

With trial and error, satisfactory results can be
obtained using vegetable based cholesterol free fats.

Recipes here are given in their original form, so your
own judgement of subsitution will have to be made.

When the decision was made to buy a computer, designing
a web page of my own was not even thought of. But with tuition
and regular use, I began to enjoy the many new skills I was
learning.

Taking on a Desktop publishing course, and learning to draw,
a project had to be completed. I decided to use the notes from
many years of research of my family history, and began typing all
these hand written notes and filing them on computer. With the
drawing I chose the Family Crest to reproduce, to complete the
course project (which I have used as my Family History icon).

But it didn't stop there, as with family history it seems to go on
and on. And there is always a family somewhere that hasn't been
researched.

So when the Internet became the 'thing' - after a lot of persuation
I might add - finally could see the many benefits there would be
for my family history research, and so the idea of webpage grew.

Once again I was off to a course to learn how to design and build
my own web page.
This time knowing that my Family History was the main purpose
for my project, to hopefully catch some new contacts.
But must say have added a few other subjects to keep the site
interesting for those who are not "into" family history.

Do have a good look around, and I hope you enjoy what I
have put together.

For any further details of any subject on this site, do not hesitate to
