In operation for over 35 years, the laboratory is now privately owned by staff members. The Citilab team is dedicated to providing prompt and personal service to our clients throughout the South Island. .
Clients include both individuals and organisations, motivated by regulatory (e.g. resource consent), operational, environmental, or personal concerns.
We offer a wide range of chemical and microbiological analyses for the testing of water, wastewater and trade wastes, soil and plant material, and foods and beverages.
Further, consulting services are available, using the Laboratory's in-house knowledge and expertise. With a Ph.D in marine and analytical chemistry, our Lab.Services Manager has 25 years' experience in water testing and related issues, and we have an extensive range of contacts both in New Zealand and overseas.
