As a qualified medical, dental, paramedical, or nursing practitioner etc :
Do you wish to improve your spoken English, with special regard to Medical and Anatomical terminology?
Do you have a forthcoming presentation in English at a Conference, Seminar, Grand Round or similar?
Does your accent seem to confuse people – staff and/or patients?
Do your patients / clients continually ask you to repeat what you have just said?
Are you lecturing to people who do not seem to understand what you are saying because of HOW you are saying it?
Do you live in Auckland, New Zealand?
If you answer yes to any or all of these questions, think about the benefits of receiving
1:1 coaching in spoken English, with an emphasis on
Medical
and Anatomical terminology,
from a professional Stage Director who is also a Registered Physiotherapist.
As a Stage Director, I am experienced
in rehearsing and training actors and actresses to present themselves well on stage,
with clarity and confidence, so that they communicate successfully with an audience.
I have been doing this since the mid 1970’s, as well as performing myself.

I trained in Dunedin, New Zealand as a Physiotherapist, graduating in 1971. I worked full time as a Physiotherapist until 1994, when I became a professional freelance Stage Director. As a Registered Physiotherapist with a current Practising Certificate, I still work as a locum at regular intervals.
My secondary school education included 2 years of Latin, with my main subjects being Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, French, and English Literature and Grammar. This, together with 9 years of private music lessons, has given me an extensive knowledge of technical terminology and usage.
