Welcome to the owners page, we love to see pictures of our babies in their new homes and stomping grounds, hope you do too!

"Murphy"

Hi Amber

Murphy has really settled in. He owns the place now..
I have sent you a picture that I had taken yesterday just so you can see how he is growing.
Christmas was a real laugh.  We survived Christmas but unfortunately our Christmas tree didn’t. Lol Murphy loved to play with the decorations and he climbed up the tree, so in the end it was nothing more than a bare tree with decorations everywhere all over the floor!!!! Lol
I hope you had a great Christmas and happy new year!
Kind regards
Louise

"Sebastian"

Hi guys

Would love to update you on Seb.

Seb is a wonderful gentle loving boy!  He loves exploring out in the garden with the other 2 cats, ducks and chickens.  He especially loves to play chase with weka`s and dragonflies around the pond.  We have baby ducklings at the moment and he loves following them around.  He often can be found walking around carrying things in his mouth (sticks and pieces of straw are his fav).  He just loves cuddles and kisses and purrs so loud you can hear him coming. His signature pose is a big flop for a belly tickle when he greets you.  We love him so much and yes he is spoilt rotten. from Ali and family. (Dec 2011)

"Ringo"

"Ringo" & Mick"

Hi Amber,

I thought you would like this pic of Ringo with my catch of crayfish from
yesterday, hasn't he grown!
Ringo & Mick's personalities are really developing now.  Mick likes Denzel
the most and actively seeks to snuggle up and wash and bite him.  Mick also
needs to be under the blankets in our bed snuggled as close as possible.
Ringo prefers to be above the blankets, head on pillow or pouncing on Mick
while we are trying to sleep.  Ringo has a hair fetish...he likes to give my
head a massage with his claws and chew my hair.

They both love being outside and climbing trees and eying up the birds.
They are both very demanding for attention and couldn't be more
affectionate.  It is certainly lovely having the two of them and would have
been a tragedy to have separated them.  We really appreciate you letting us
have them both.
Enjoy your day
Jenny

"Levi & Zak"

can tell you that they are right wee rascals.Choc Levi the "bossy one" has a special furry mouse which he loves dearly, ( we call it "Mousie" ) he knows it's name when we tell him to go and find mousie, he throws it all around the place and sucks it yuk, we then have to throw the soggy mouse bby it's tail "yuk", as a game and he then brings it back and drops it at our feet and we do it all over again until he has had enough!

Zak is much quieter and prefers to watch or do his own thing with chasing a small piece of coloured sticky note paper across th ceramic tiled floor They have also started to jump up on everything given the chance and there has been quite a few breakages by those mischievous boisterous brothers

Unfortunately the pair of them have started taking off together visiting the neighbours and wondering into their houses, they are too friendly and very inquisitive and we are not  happy about their jaunts of pre-teen freedom! However, they each have collars and tags which they only wear when outside, they are kept inside at night. At their bedtime they always snuggle down happily together until morning.

They have their various food interests especially when we are having our evening meals, tonight being chicken they were going crazy so being the spoilt boys that they are I set aside a little bit of chicken for each of them. We have got to watch Levi as he is such a glutton and bolts his food and then makes a bee line for Zaks dinner as he is a gentlemanly cat and is a much slower eater. Oh, just like our kids used to be!!!

Hope all is well with you and the family

"Sam" with his new best friend.

"sam"

Hi Amber

Just to let you know Sam is the most gorgeous cat. He
is long muscular and lean and has the most gorgeous
personality. he sleeps on our bed or in the childrens each
night. He is very social, following us around and his bed
buddy is our labrador. He seems to actually like being
carried around the house by the children and even likes
being walked around in the baby buggy.

He is allowed out during the day when we are home and
always comes when called. He doesn't go far from the house
which is a relief to me.
Many thanks
melanie

"pops"

Hi Amber,

Just letting you know that Pops has settled in very well – we have called her Stellar, inspired by the starry pattern she has in her eyes.

She’s a typical kitten with just two speeds – Full On and Snooze. She’s obviously very well brought up as she makes full use of the scratching post and litter tray, no accidents at all. Favourite games would be fetch and retrieve the screwed up ball of paper, and boxing match with the long stem of grass.

I’ve attached a photo taken yesterday of her in some long grass just off our deck.

Kind regards
Don and Megan

"Leon"

Hello,

He is doing fantastically well. He now basically owns the house and has grown alot. Hes a very affectionate cat, loves to snuggle round your neck and sit on your shoulder why you do things.
He loves to talk as well. Hes an awesome cat!
 Thanks
Katie

"Zeus & xena"

Hi Amber
Hope all is well in your part of the world.

Just a few pics of the terrible twins, (see attached) their territory now extends about 3/4 of a kilometre in every direction and Zeus has found out how to run, stalk etc: without ringing the bell on his collar, both have lost a collar and name tag already and had new ones with their name and phone number + okiwi bay engraved. When they have been outside their eating habits resemble a Labrador's vacuum cleaner action and they are growing at a real pace Xena is 3.93kg and Zeus is 4.04Kg he is very well muscled and his body ripples like a big cats does when he lopes along. Xena has the shiniest coat and her muscles are not as pronounced, but she is just as strong, leaping onto things 1.5m high with what appears to be no effort at all, sometimes using us as a launching pad to reach a higher posi. They have found out how to jump from the boat, to the fence, up onto a sail and then onto the lodge roof for a better vantage point. Now the days are cooler the pair of them come home a bit earlier to sit in front of the log fire.
 Regards

"Miss Molly and Quincy
"

Hello Amber
Thought you might like to see some recent photos of Miss Molly and Quincy, now that they are 8 months old. They continue to be an absolute delight and just love running around the vineyard, climbing trees and watching the goldfish in the pond.

Kind regards
Diane

"Yogi & Boo Boo"

Hi Amber,

Thought you'd like some pics of your babies.
They are SOOOOO lovely!

Yogi is the most incredible creature.  He has a HUGE personality!!  He must be involved in everything we are doing and is incredibly busy.  Always seems to have a lot on and gallops about like a mad thing.  He is all about cuddles and smooches and has the loudest purr ever.  He wakes us up every morning by body slamming the bedroom door until it gives way and leaps into bed for morning cuddles.  He is so big and strong and we really can't believe how much like a little furry person he is!  The first pic os of him stuck up the tree on his first outdoor outing - it involved a daring rescue on my part to get him down!  Ha ha!

Boo Boo is such a little girl.  Totally opposite to Yogi.  She is very gentle and sweet and likes to do things in her own time.  She makes the funniest sweetest noises - lots of grunts and squeaks - and has a darling crackly purr.  She has amazing silky fur and is absolutely stunning.  She is much cleverer in the trees than Yogi and leaps about with incredible agility while Yogi gets his big muscly buttocks stuck between the branches!  She runs rings around him up the trees!

They have such a fantasy playground here and play in the bush beside our house.  We can hear their bells jingling as they roar around up and down the banks in the bush and then rush straight up the tree and back down again.

Anyhow, that's them.  Hope you enjoy the pics.
Thank you for allowing us to be the guardians of such beautiful loving creatures.  When we are away for the night my sister comes to sit them and we miss them so much and can't wait to get home to them again!

Love to you and your family, both furry and not.
Helen and Mikkel

"Miqa"

Miqa is so sweet, he's not nearly as naughty as Lulu. He has such a funny wee Meow too which is cute. They wait outside the bedroom door in the morning and I open it when I wake up and they jump in the bed for cuddles!

Miqa is beautiful. He has grown into such a big boy – he has outgrown his older sister Lulu and is quite a heavy lump! He is very affectionate and wanders around the house with his cute wee meow and his motor-purr going!
Eve

Pippy May

Hi Amber, Pippy May is a very happy and contented wee girl, she gets on well with her big sister Misty and is a absolute joy to have. Her and Misty hoon around the house upstairs and down at night causing havoc. Her favourite toy is a little feather duster, which she carries a round in her mouth and drops at your feet. We are so lucky to have her, Thanks Amber for our little angel,  Coral (feb2012)

"Lulu"

Lulu is such a wee darling, although she can be very mischievous – just look at her cheeky grin! She loves looking after Miqa and cuddling with him, and tries to sneak under the bed covers whenever she gets the chance .

"Orinoco"

Dear Amber and Roy
As you can see, Orinoco has made himself quite at home on the beanbag with
all his new friends!!! He's settled in SO well and is so totally relaxed
it's quite unbelievable! He slept all the way home in the car and has had a
snoozy afternoon with lots of playfulness inbetween. We all love him
already!
Thank you again! suexxx

"Tilly and Diesel"

I am delighted with Diesel!!  He has fitted in so well with the family
He and Tilly the beagle are best of friends and play hard and sleep hard together!
In fact he loves her so much he seems to think that Tilly is his mother and trys to drink from her
I really think it makes a difference getting a kitten from a breeder that has their cats in the house it seems to make them very social
Thanks so much Diesel is a credit to you guys
Amy and Diesel

 "Jasper"

We love our little Jasper so much. It feels like he has always been a part of the family. He settled in so well and his trusting, cuddly nature is a testament to the love and attention he has obviously always received. He seems to have two speeds at the moment; flat out; and stop. The only problem we have encountered is that we spend far too much of our time watching and sharing in his antics when we should be getting prepared for the Christmas!

Ainsley

"Jazz Dancer"

Jazz Dancer is our 10 month old adorable seal Burmese full of character and attitude.
We used to call her our manic, interactive kitten; lately we are calling her Jazz Hunter due to all the baby
bunnies she is bringing home.  Playful, delightful, independent, friendly and affectionate - she is all of these.
Janice

"Achilles"

Hi Amber,

He is a lovely boy, very mischievous and has the look that butter wouldn’t melt in his mouth!!My favourite thing about my darling boy is the way he comes for walks with us.  We live at the end of a very quiet road with a walking track right next to our house, when we go for walks he and my ginger boy ‘Sam’ will follow us – running and playing and talking all the way – it’s gorgeous!!

he loves heaps of cuddles and basically comes into the house demanding attention until he gets picked up and smooched, then he purrs loudly  He definitely is a real charmer and gets on with the other cats so well, thanks so much for him.

JO

"Cadbury Dream"

Although our boy doesn't seem to "speak" much he certainly has a way of making his presence known and felt. He is full of cuddles and love - especially for his Daddy. To say he is a Daddy's boy is an understatement. He follows his Dad around the house no matter where he goes and at the end of a long day, likes nothing more than to cuddle up with Dad under the duvet - this is sure to come in handy during winter! This summer he has had much fun catching cicadas with his brother Charlie - often bringing them in to proudly show them off to us.

Thank you Amber for this precious boy - we are all most certainly Charmed - all 2 legged and four legged members of this family.
Thanks and regards
Mandy

"Eddie"

EDDIE IS FANTASTIC, HE HAS FITTED IN SO WELL. ITS LOVELY HAVING HIM SIT ON OUR KNEE, IT MAKES US SIT DOWN AND RELAX.
DYLAN WONT PUT HIM DOWN, HE EVEN SITS HOLDING HIM AT THE DINNER TABLE. BUT IM AMAZED THAT EDDIE WONT LEAVE HIS SIDE, HE SLEEPS WITH DYLAN AND LAST NIGHT I WENT TO CHECK ON HIM AND HERE HE WAS SLEEPING WITH HIS HEAD ON DYLANS PILLOW AND HIS BODY UNDER THE BLANKETS. IT LOOKED SO SWEET!!!

"Blu-joe and Latte"

Hi Amber,

Blu-joe and Latte are enjoying each other very much. Its such fun for us too having 2 lovely Burmese jumping and running around all over the place. Lattes colour is really pretty. A beautiful brown face and a lovely honey coloured body. I notice differences in their behaviour being male and female. Blu seems to look out for her which is really sweet. When sometimes they eat from the same bowl, if hes getting in her way, she`ll put her paw on his head and he`ll stand back (such power!).  John has recently put extensions to their climbing post. Now it is most definately a climbing tree with several branches added. So as you can see all is well with them. You are welcome to call in to see them when you`re over this way.
Best wishes,
Deborah.

"Mozart"

Hi Amber
Our weekend (Mozart and mine) has been totally delightful.Mozart slept with me on Friday night, happily cuddled up with me and slept all night both nights. Jock, my partner, has been away all week and weekend, til tonight, in Hastings so it was lovely having Mozart's company! He has settled in beautifully, is eating well, playing well and sleeping well so, no worries! He is eating and drinking and toileting with no problems, and he is soooo loving and friendly, I am delighted.

Thank you so much for an absolutely wonderful companion. He has met Tosca and thinks she's wonderful...I It was so nice having the weekend together he and I with Claire, my daughter, who had flown up from Christchurch for a meeting here in Wellington on Friday, and who flew home yesterday 2pm. She fell totally in love with him after we picked him up from the airport Friday evening. It was lovely having her with me while we waited for him to arrive! After she left yesterday Mozart and I had a lovely time together on our own. He is so much more perfect than I had expected from the photos, a fabulous colour and wonderful nature, I am completely besotted!

Thank you so much Amber for all your efforts and help, all that has made the transition for Mozart from home to here so smooth. He is delightful.
Regards
Barb XX

"Cocoa and Morgan"

  Hi Amber
Cocoa is doing really well. Here is a three month old picture of Cocoa
that was taken yesterday.
Cocoa has really adjusted well and really loves running around and
playing. Morgan really loves playing and holding Cocoa.
Diane

Mia - is gorgeous and such a character! She is very close to our other Burmese, Lily, who also loves having her around. Mia's colouring is beautiful - as you will see in the photos! As for her nature, I liken her to a labrador in a kitten's body!! She is so boisterous, clumsy, confident and affectionate to anyone who visits! We all love her and she provides us with endless fun and amusement.
Hope all is well with you and your cats too.
Best wishes,
Vanessa

Amber, Cloudy is just beautiful!  I absolutely adore him. He has the most gentle nature and is very affectionate. He's had such fun this afternoon with toys and a scratch post. He's snuggled up in his bed (on my bed) in his blue rug you sent thank you.
Thank you once again.
Best wishes, Margaret.
